Ann Jillian is (just barely) saved from the gas chamber, but the death row scenes are pretty good.

I think I've seen this year's ago. She's twins in it.

 

I always thought that this movie would have been great with a gas chamber scene. Either she could have been saved at the last second or the governor called just as the pellets were dropped, too late to save her.
