It's not particularly accurate, but there's a new show called She Means Justice 2: Breakout that has a mother and daughter in prison. The mother plans to break the daughter out of "death row" before her execution in 7 days. Long clips are available on YouTube. There's mention in one of the clips of the daughter facing the chair, though presumably that doesn't happen.
