I can test it to see. Sometimes it can be a dime a dozen, and sometimes random whether it works or doesn't.

 

always feel funny saying scenes like these are disappointing.

Clearly most people don't, or there be a lot more (explicit) forms of these scenes in movies.

Oddly hanging and garrote are much less censored. Which is strange, because that seems inconsistent with the idea of the guillotine being more humane.
