Actually I'm developing a preference for more modern clothes, even tomboyish. In my own work, I'm even updating the guillotine in a way that never happened IRL.

I feel like my specific taste in outfits is refining. I tend to like the Lara Croft / John Conner's Mom look. But with more Birkenstocks and shorter pants. The Hacker look.
If a Rennaissance or 19th century setting, drab dresses and wooden shoes.
In my storytelling, I like blending these outfits in different contexts. So sometimes even in the future she wears peasant dresses and wooden shoes, or if a time traveler Tomboy and birkenstocks.
Thinking of looking into French / Spanish / Portuguese fashion for inspiration too.
