Short-lived horror/thriller series called 'Woh' from Indian TV, aired in 1998.
Seems to have avoided IMDb's radar, but there's a Wikipedia entry with some details

Apparently ZeeTV have put the whole thing on YouTube.
This hanging scene formed the cliffhanger ending of Ep42, then resolved with them all being rescued (!?!) in Ep43.
