I cannot disabuse myself of the feeling that this will be yet another tease and nothing more than a disappointingly damp squib.

 

As predicted, an anti climactic damp squib. Very disappointing but not unexpected. Documentary makers have fallen for this " art school " portrayal of such historically significant events as Anne Boleyn's execution. They seem afraid to recreate the reality and the truth in visceral flesh and blood.

I'm fed up with stylised garbage like this.

 

Just one more reason I hate filmmakers.
