I am trying to write a story, and need some help. Can anyone point me to a written or movie where someone is sentenced to hang?

And what kind of courtroom? British, American, or someplace else?

By the way, Paul, your blurb says:

That's close, but not quite right.

Her husband was a professional portrait photographer,
and the murdered man was his assistant.

(Her husband was effectively her accomplice, after the fact.)

Sadly, the execution was not portrayed on-screen.
It would have been a classic...
