Themis was created to archive execution scenes from movies and TV. Over time, it has evolved to include comics, videogames, anime and other media, which is logical. It has also included live-action porn videos that fit the theme, which I think most people are fine with, even though it's not "official" media.

But the site doesn't include hentai comics for instance, or images from sites like Pixiv with an execution theme. There are plenty of drawn images and 3D artworks, literally thousands upon thousands of images which are great, but excluded. Series like "Fallen Flowers", or the works of artists like Sukiyo, e254e and Haabaato Nishi (among hundreds of others), aren't on the site. Sure, there are exceptions that are culturally relevant (like Dolcett), but I think most of us can agree that if the site included all of that execution-themed hentai artwork, however good it may be, it'll lose sight of its original purpose. Which is to document execution scenes from officially published sources.

So why are we suddenly seeing AI-generated art - and bad art, at that? Why do galleries like this https://themiscollection.com/set/Themis_AI_-_Electric_Chair_attempt_1 belong here? I don't think they do, and I'd hate for the site to be flooded with pictures like this. Having no content at all would be better.

I hear you, I didn't want to just dilute the current collection with AI images which is why I put it under a separate category. Yes, most AI images are going to be dull for now, but it does have the potential to improve and eventually they can be stringed together to have a story or narrative. For now the new category is just a sandbox for me to play around in. Obviously I could start my own channel on Pixiv but I don't really want to.

I might put it to polls on whether AI is welcomed here. If not, I could just create a different site for it completely.

Paul, it's your site.

If you want to post your own art, you are well within your rights.

I don't have any issue with AI images, so long as they're kept in a separate category than other works.

A question: what's up with "fallen flowers?" I can't find anything about it on the web.

At least 30 takes on a single pose, and none are nude. Does AI not accept nude commands?

AI can do nudes, but I'm going to keep it to a limit.

Currently working on a storied series, so it'll get way more interesting. I'll most likely release it after another "draft" echair collection. What I learned about AI is that it's definitely not easy, the trial/error stage is very time-consuming and consistency of style/character is problematic when changing scenes, even for something minor.

We have to realize that the sources of actual TV and Movie scenes are limited, and we may be forced to seek other forms of entertainment. There are other film works that have been made in the past but at current they are not available to the public. If any AI or 3D rendered art is of good quality as well as drawings, we will have to settle for them, at least for now.

I also think that AI has its place here. And Paul, those were very good works so far. THe good scenarplay is the most important! Thx

@Paul I for one am actually being pulled back to the site by the AI stuff. My own experimentation has been extremely limited in its results, but definitely is showing potential... in short, any interest in posting anything about your workflow and what models and finetuning you're using?
