Condemned's attire dualism

The very problem and the main paradox of condemned woman's last dressing is about conflict between two postulats. At first woman wants to look best last time. And "best" of course means dress or pretty blouse with skirt - no pants or jeans - nice lingerie etc. At second woman wants to keep her dignity. But! The "best" attire is by fact very treacherous, malfunctions, opened (decolettes, hems etc). And at last that "best" attire is very impracticy in contest of execution: nylons isolates skin from the electric chair's leg electrodes, hems could be caught by trapdoor mechanisms or acted as pachute and spoil calculates ov long drop, big skirts could collect poisonous gas from gas chamber.
And for this dualustic nature I love that attire.

A skillful hangman knows how to deal with such issues.
(How do you get to be a skillful hangman? Practice, practice, practice...)

it is not a dilemma.. on the contrary
Joan of Arc is tied to the post in a long white shirt
Marie Antoinette is strapped in a white dress on the guillotine board
women sentenced to hanging are strapped to their calves
the executioners know how to handle this very well
