Hello!

What are your favorite suicides from the following categories:
- suicide by hanging
- suicide with a cold weapon (knife, sword, glass or other sharp object)
- suicide by firearm
- suicide by injection
- suicide by poisoning (medicines, drugs, poison)

 

Hanging

 

If you mean for myself, having seen many suicides I would choose the cyanide capsule. I only saw only one of those during my career, and having no access to one I would use Carbon Monoxide. If you do not wish to urinate all over a car you share with others, then you should get a lawn chair and set it up in the garage. Then start up a vehicle or gardening machine as it is dirtier than some of the newer vehicles. Take a book and a bottle of good whiskey or a six pack and read til you pass out. Hope that some do gooder doesn't save you as you are really going to be sick for days. Hanging is very slow, and from the looks on people's faces I would say it was very unpleasant. I have seen shootings where the shooter screwed up and maimed themselves, or suffered for a long time. I have seen a suicide by train or two and it looked downright horrible not to mention the noise just before impact. Maybe a call to suicide prevention would be of some help, and give some of the volunteers more experience. My best advice would be to "do it tomorrow."
