In the first 7 minutes of episode 1 there are 2 hangings, first one at the very start of a woman being publicly hanged and another at 7 minutes where another woman is found hanged, both in their bare feet.

At 19:20 of that episode we discover that the second hanging was actually an abduction and murder.
There are some additional shots which may not have made it to the finished production, I've not been able to scan all episodes.
