Any new Indian content, hanging/beheading/sacrifice??

 

I fear that the indian mother lode has dried up. No significant scenes since june 2025. Personally I am switching to AI based image generation/editing.

one particular scenario is cooking up currently on Telugu TV. In serial 'Aaro Pranam'. The main character (you can spot her easily among the prisoners) is currently in jail 3 years for some self defence killing. Now in the jail a new side character is introduced who is on death row and currently on reprieve due to pregnancy. They have shown her staring at the gallows [noose installed for maximum absurdity] time and again. so hopefully there will be a scene, may be a good elaborate one, sometime this year. since telugu serials are known to drag these things, the wait may run for months.

the surface finds have sure dried up. But there are, I belief good stuff, potentially gems, hiding in obscurity. See, most of the Indian finds outside of popular TV serials are accidental finds from obscure movies. Ask any movie buff and they won't even know these movies. So one needs to keep scanning the space. Plus a lot of TV serials that aired on DD [the govt owned terresterial network] are rotting in archives. I happen to know a couple which had good quality judicial hanging scenes but are impossible to find on internet. they probably were never digitized.
