The book is very interesting! There were two fatal hangings: execution at the beginning and stage performance at the end.

Yes. I've not yet finished the reed the book, but the movie seems to have a different ending.

 

I noticed in the image posted above she has her hands tide behind her, but in the preview it looks like they tie them in front. Not really important but interesting.

 

I noticed that also. Perhaps, after she is "rescued", she later makes a second trip to the gallows?
