This is absolutely fabulous. She looks hopeless and defected.

 

She is, all those nightmares about being hanged, the surprise of the first moments, when the noose tightens and she realizes that no air is getting through her constricted windpipe, now they will become true, in just a few moments!

Upon returning from that country, some friends had boasted about how easy smuggling dope through the borders was, since as they were foreigners coming from a rich country, they were considered somehow VIP visitors and left alone. That irresponsible words encouraged Joanna to give a try herself and so it was that when she was checked by custom officials during a random search she was carrying a package full of drugs. Well, she hadn't been told that the penalty for drug trafficking was the mandatory death sentence by hanging, so despite diplomatic efforts, pleas from diverse NGOs and humanitarian organizations, three weeks later she was hanged along four other mules, all men, at the capital infamous Central Prison and her picture, dangling from the gallows freshly executed, released to the local and international press to be distributed worldwide.

Two unhappy Westerners who got framed by a local con-man to carry a package with drugs in their rented car and were stopped in a random police checkpoint, are going to known one of the most elaborate, if relatively unknow by the general public, specialties. They are going to be executed by hanging like the locals: in prison dress, bare feet, chains and their terrified faces covered by hoods that had been already worn by the men and women who were hanged before them. After they have dangled long enough, their hoods will be removed for the prison photographer to take their picture so it can be sent to their respective families as a "souvenir" and to the press to be published as a public deterrent.

I love to see these unhappy westerners meeting their end. Try to make a scene with a middle Eastern flavour if possible
