We have a smaller selection of these images already on site:-

The Chinese title given there enabled me to track down the series online at the time. Sadly it no longer is accessible for me.
I had it translated as 'Mine War Legend', though I won't quibble over that. However I did manage to identify the pictures as coming from Episode 12.

This TV series even has a wikipedia entry.

"锄奸" means to eliminate traitors.Google Translate contains the correct meaning of this phrase, but it cannot be translated when placed in a text.So my translation is correct.
"Landmine Warfare" is a classic example of anti-Japanese guerrilla warfare that is often publicized. It happened in Haiyang County, Shandong Province from 1942 to 1945. From the 1960s to the 1980s, the 1962 movie "Landmine Warfare" was often played in rural China. Of course, this execution plot is most likely fictional.
I'm curious, does China's propaganda of revolutionary history cause TC users to worry about finding Chinese movies and TV series?
