81] Operation Kelly
i] The Plan
Six weeks later the Club members were holding their regular Saturday meeting when they were rudely interrupted by twenty heavily armed masked men dressed in black who forced their way into the house
Sir Reginald protested, “What is the meaning of this!”
Gary went over to him & said, “We know what you sick bastards have been doing & now you are going to pay for it”
Sir Reginald paled, the other male Club members protested & the women began to whimper in fear. They were quickly put under guard two men per prisoner
Bridgette, Angelica & Gretel who had been brought to the main living room were confused & afraid.
Gary turned to them & said. “Don’t be frightened girls. We know you have had no part in what has been going on in this house. The fact is that for the past few weeks you have been working for a serial killer & monster. Please just co-operate & you will not only be totally safe you will be handsomely recompensed for the inconvenience you are about to experience”.
He nodded at one of his men & the three girls were taken away & put in the back of a van
Two other members of the security team came forward & systematically worked their way down the protesting Club Members injecting them with a powerful sedative.
Once all the prisoners were unconscious they were carried out of the house & put in the back of another larger van
Twenty four hours later Sir Reginald, the Smithsons, Brownlows, Jamiesons & MG & PT gradually came round. They realized that they were inside a small private plane that was on the ground at an airport in what appeared to be a hot country.
When they looked out the windows they saw a number of police cars, sirens blazing, racing across the tarmac towards the plane
Three months later the Club members were taken to Evin Prison in Tehran & placed on death row to await execution. The trial of the nine British citizens caught with half a million pounds worth of pure heroin in a private plane at Tehran airport had excited much media interest, especially in the UK.
On the day the death sentences were handed down James & Edith Burrows hosted a party at their rented mansion in London for everyone who had played a part in Operation Kelly. The guest of honour was Gary Pierce who had meticulously planned the operation & ensured that it had a successful outcome.
Once the Club members had been drugged they had been taken to a small airport where a leased plane, apparently rented by one of Sir Reginald’s companies, was waiting.
The fictitious paper trail for the plane hire had been created by James’s Californian IT expert. The paperwork for the comatose passengers described them as wealthy Iranian citizens being taken back to Tehran after medical treatment in the UK.
The customs officials had carried out a cursory inspection of the plane which had been rigged out like a hospital ward & returned the documentation to the members of Gary’s security team, who were dressed in medical whites, without making any comment apart from wishing them a safe journey.
During the planning phase of Operation Kelly Gary had identified three areas that posed the most threat to the success of the operation
1] Dealing with Scotland Yard following the disappearance of the Club members, especially Sir Reginald, who Superintendent Mason knew was a suspect in the disappearance of Kelly Burrows
2] Getting hold of half a million pounds worth of illegal heroin
3] Ensuring that the plane’s pilots & flight crew were free & clear before the Iranian authorities were anonymously tipped off about the drugs on the plane sitting at Tehran airport
Number 1] When Sir Reginald disappeared Gary said to Superintendent Mason that this suggested that he had somehow been involved in the abduction of Kelly Burrows & had decided to take off. The disappearance of the Smithson’s, Brownlow’s & Jamieson’s while reported wasn’t linked by the police to that of Sir Reginald.
MG & PT weren’t reported missing by anyone. When the news of Sir Reginald & the other Club members arrest in Iran broke Gary told Superintendent Mason that he was as mystified as he was by this development
Number 2] James & Gary had met with a highly placed CIA official who had been at Harvard with James & laid their cards on the table. As a result Operation Kelly had been supplied with 500K’s worth of heroin which had been originally seized by US Marines in Afghanistan & had initially been intended for destruction. Langley classified the supply of the drugs as a “Top Secret Black Op”
Number 3] The two pilots & three flight crew, dressed as medical personnel, all members of Gary’s team, had left the plane with the unconscious Club members on board & presented their documents to Iranian customs. They explained that two, non- existent, nurses were still on the aircraft waiting for the arrival of local medical staff to take charge of the patients on board the plane.
The documentation & explanation was accepted without question & an hour later the five members of the security team were safely in the air on board a scheduled Lufthansa flight to Berlin.
Once they were out of Iranian airspace the senior member of the team texted Gary to let him know they were safe. Gary then arranged for a local Tehran contact to anonymously tip off the Iranian authorities about the heroin on the plane
Bridgette, Angelica & Gretel had each been paid £20,000.00 & found new jobs. Once the reason behind their abduction had been explained to them & they were told about the evil nature of their former employer they were only too happy to co-operate fully. Gary had no reason to doubt that they would keep quiet
As the Club members’ trial in Tehran had progressed Superintendent Mason had obtained search warrants for their properties in England. Gary & Maddy accompanied the officers searching Sir Reginald’s house.
They forced their way into the basement & found the gallows, garotte & disassembled gas chamber.
With the help of James’s IT expert Scotland Yard were able to gain access to Sir Reginald’s computer & there they found the films of all the murders committed by the Club, including that of Kelly Burrows
The police also located similar instruments of death at MG & PT’s premises along with the videos of the executions they had carried out prior to joining the Club
Stunned & shocked by the images the police began searching the houses & grounds at both properties for the bodies & they soon located the mass burial site under the large rose garden at Sir Reginald’s.
Over the next month forensic pathologists painstakingly excavated the mass grave. By the end of the process they had recovered twenty bodies, including that of Kelly Burrows
No bodies were found at MG & PT’s house however the large freezer in the garage did have several female DNA traces in it. On finding out that the two girls had a boat they kept on the English Channel coast that they had appeared to use regularly the police concluded that their victims had almost certainly been disposed of at sea
Superintendent Mason broke the news of the discovery of their daughter’s body to James & Edith Burrows & the fact that they had film of her murder in Sir Reginald’s gas chamber.
James looked at his wife & said, “Well Edith we finally found our girl. At least we know what happened to her & we do have the consolation of knowing that these evil bastards will hopefully be hanged in Iran”.
Inwardly he thought to himself that the almost two million pounds the search for his daughter & Operation Kelly had cost him was money well spent
