XIII: Female Nazis Who Paid For Their Crimes
Again not knowing it Maddy continued to follow in MG’s footsteps & started to look into the cases of those women Nazis who had been executed for their crimes.
Sydonia Bayer: Sydonia was a “Nurse” who worked at a special camp established for children. She was infamous for her cruelty & on the 12th of November 1945 the 25 year old paid for her crimes on the gallows in Lodz prison in Poland. As the Poles used the short drop method of hanging Sydonia convulsed & kicked for several minutes as she slowly strangled to death at the end of the rope.
Elisabeth Volkenrath: 26 year old Elisabeth was a guard at Bergen-Belsen whose behaviour had made her “The most hated woman in the camp”. She had her neck broken on the gallows by the official British executioner Albert Pierrepoint on the 12th of December 1945.
Juana Bormann: 30 minutes after the execution of Elisabeth 52 year old Juana dropped through the gallows trap.
Maria Nagy: Maria was condemned to death for the torture & murder of Jewish prisoners while working for the Nazis in occupied Hungary. The 35 year old woman was publicly executed by pole hanging in Budapest on the 15th of March 1946.
Herta Kasparova: 23 year old Herta collaborated with the SS after the invasion of Czechoslavakia. She identified several opponents of the Nazis who were then arrested & executed. For these crimes Herta was put to death by pole hanging in Prague on the 13th of September of 1946.
Dorethea Binz: Dorothea was a concentration camp guard notorious for her brutality. She was 27 years of age when she was hanged in the British zone of occupied Germany by Albert Pierrepoint on May 2nd 1947.
Greta Bosel: Half an hour after Dorothea Binz was executed the former Ravensbruck guard 38 year old Greta Bosel was executed by Pierrepoint. He used the same noose that had stretched Dorethea Binz’s neck.
Vera Salvequart: Vera had been imprisoned in Bergen-Belsen where as a qualified nurse she was put to work in the camp hospital. There she became an active participant in the murder of patients whom the camp authorities decreed were more bother than they were worth. The 27 year old Vera paid for her crimes on the gallows on the 26th of June 1947 at the expert hands of Mr Pierrepoint.
Else Ehrich: 35 year old Else had been the commandant at the female section of the Majdanek concentration camp in Poland. Like Sydonia Bayer she was executed by short drop hanging in Lublin Poland on the 26th of October 1948 & as had Sydonia Bayer she wriggled & writhed for some time before the noose finally throttled her to death.
Elisabeth Lupka: This 46 year old Auschwitz guard was executed by short drop hanging in Kralow Poland on the 8th of January 1949. She reportedly kicked & struggled on the rope for several minutes before finally expiring.
Provoked especially by the pictures of the executions of Maria Nagy & Herta Kasparov, availed herself of the services of her vibrator which she thoroughly enjoyed.
