Sunny stared at the bowl on the small table. The bowl contained the poison given by the king, her brother-in-law. She thought, 'The one that killed my husband by poisoning kill me by making me drink poison openly now.'
Sunny was the queen of the former king. The present king was the younger brother of her husband. She and her husband had no children, so when her husband was dead, his younger brother became king. But she doubted that her brother-in-law killed her husband by blending poison into the last medicine which he gave to her husband. So, when some traitors contacted her and requested supporting toward their rioting against the present king, she gave a secret document to the traitors. But their riot failed, and her secret document was exposed. So Sunny could not to be accused and executed as a traitor. Making him/her drink poison openly was the way of death penalty applied only for royal families and nobles.
"Traitor Sunny, drink the poison granted by His majesty right now!" Sunny took up the bowl and drank the poison. She lost the power to move her hands, so dropped the empty bowl. She vomited blood, and collapsed right side. 'Ah, I die now...'
But, Sunny felt somebody tried to strip off her skirt. 'What the hell? Why do they undress the skirt of dying woman?'...
All of them was just Sunny's daydream. When she regained her consciousness, Sunny realized the executioners had stripped off her inner skirt just before. Her 20-year-old naked body was totally exposed. Sunny's hands were turned behind and bound, and her naked body were also bound. And she was forced to knelt down.
Though Sunny was the queen of the former king, she was deprived of the status of royal family because of her traitor crime. So the way of Sunny's execution was not making her drink poison, but beheading her in naked and bound.
The executioner's sword cut off Sunny's delicate neck at one stroke. According to the order of the king, Sunny's decapitated head was exhibited by being hung high on a pole. Next to the pole, a white flag was erected. "The decapitated head of traitor Sunny."
Sunny's headless naked body was also exhibited under the pole. All parts of her headless naked corpse was exposed totally, even her vagina. Such sight provoked pity toward her cruel fate. Some people requested the executioners to permit covering vagina and nipples of Sunny's headless naked body with clean and white cloth. At first, the request was rejected, but as same requests were continued, finally Sunny's vagina and nipples were covered.
After exhibiting her head and headless body for 7 days, the king ordered to keep Sunny's decapitated head in the warehouse of palace, and to bury only her headless naked body. But, in this order, following rules were applied.
- prohibiting putting her corpse into a coffin or a sack.
- prohibiting shrouding her headless naked corpse.
- prohibiting releasing the ropes tying her headless naked corpse.
25 years after that, the miserable Sunny's name was heard again in a rumor as following: After the king executed his insane crown prince, he went to the warehouse in which Sunny's decapitated head was kept, and hit her decapitated face several times in extreme angry, yelling "You made my crown price mad!" His crown prince lived in his young age at the building which was built at the site of demolishing the building Sunny had lived.
