Does anyone know some books or comics with good hanging executions in them?

There's a comic book scene of a long drop hanging - I saw a grainy scan of it on a forum a long time ago. One of the comments mentioned it was the Black Canary. She's falling through a trapdoor, with a very thick noose around her neck. She has her hands tied behind her back and her knees and ankles bound. There's an odd extra detail - she has a sandbag tied to her feet for extra weight.

There are two panels of her falling (it's a pretty long drop). While falling, she reassures herself it's all a hallucination ('a lot of strange stuff has been happening to me lately'....'nothing bad will come of this little noose fall'), but in the third panel she hits the end of the rope and realizes her neck has broken.

It seems like someone comes across her in the 3rd panel after she's hanged and makes some remark ("Hello up there..."), but it was hard to decipher the text in the scan. I've tried to find this again (and any other images that might give more context), but haven't found it. I wonder if anyone here has seen it?

It is not Black Canary but Black Phantom. The comic is Femforce 67.

Have you read "Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem"?

It has an excellent description of a Victorian hanging...
