would they have that done on the scaffold?.or in the cell, prior to being led to the scaffold? if it was a woman I wonder if her heels would have been removed for the walk and would go in stocking feet? did they remove shoes so they didnt fly off does anyone know?...........I think I would wantmine off if I couldnt see where or what was happening as long as the wardess was helping lol.......just a question for you.....thanks

 

The mentioned above photo is well-known. There is a short series of hanging execution. The glass plate negatives 9x12 sm are preserved at Revolution museum depository in Moscow.
