what are your favourite non-judicial hanging peril scenes?

 

For me it has to be:
1)Terror Tract: Rachel York is forced by her husband to stand on a chair and is noosed (after she was caught cheating with another man). Her husband keeps on wobbling the chair beneath her bare feet toes until he kicks the chair away. They show her kick her legs and gasping while grabbing at the noose until she is saved at the last second. The scene is great: Hot Woman✔ Barefoot✔ Tiptoeing✔ Gasping✔ Legs Kicking✔

 

2) Friday the 13th: The Series S01E15: Gwendoline Pacey is stood up on a stool with a makeshift noose tight around her neck. She tiptoes in her pantyhose trying to escape. She eventually loses her balance but is saved after a few seconds of her hanging.

 

3) House of Bodies: Karlee Eldridge is naked, tiptoeing on a stool in her bathtub with a noose around her neck. Eventually the killer enters the bathroom and approaches her from behind, until he pushes her off the stool. They show her legs and feet kick and thrash until it stops (when she dies).

4)Sanitarium: A man has Mayra Leal noosed and standing barefoot on a bucket. Eventually he kicks the bucket away leaving her to hang. They show her bare feet kick as she hangs to death (someone fails at saving her). The scene could have been better honestly.

 

5) Desenlace (El autografo): A mad woman fashions a noose and hangs it from a beam. She then forces Paula Vazquez on a stool and places the noose around her neck. She then pulls on the rope until Paula is on her toes (lots of close ups on her bare feet) but eventually decides to keep her standing flat on her feet. She threatens her multiple times until she kicks the stool away. The rope breaks down just before she hangs though.

 

6) Reaksiyon: A barefoot woman is forced to tiptoe on a melting ice block with a belt tight around her neck. Eventually the ice block melts away is is found hanging dead by two mwn who were going to save her.

 

The Child's Play 2019 reboot has a great non-judicial hanging as its climax. The evil doll has the main character's mom bound and gagged, with a thick noose (looped twice) around her neck. A mechanical lift hoists her up. She struggles hard against the rope and stays conscious in spite of the double loop. The main character succeeds at cutting the rope and saving her right after she seems to pass out. She manages to survive a pretty lengthy hanging.

A downside for that scene is that she has blood on her face.

 

7)Slip: Jill Small is is bound and strung up by a noose. The noose is very tight around her neck forcing her to stand on the tips of her bare toes. She loses her balance like 2 times hanging in the process but her captor saves her and stands her on the chair again. Lots of close ups of her face as she struggles with the tight noose. Eventually she kicks the chair away from under her and catches her captos with her legs killing him after sometime.

 

8)Cut!: Gabriella Stone is standing barefoot and in her panties on a block with a noose around her neck. Eventually her captor kicks the block from under her feet and she hangs to death. The show her legs and bare feet dangling after she dies.

 

9) Kurtlar Vadisi: Muge Ulusoy's husband enters her bedroom holding a noose and hangs it from the chandelier. She complies, takes off her shoes and steps up on a stool. Then the stool gets kicked away and she hangs to death. We see her barefeet kick and close ups of her face as she strangles.

 

10) The Executioners (2018): Two women are noosed while they are in their lingerie and get hoisted up by two men. They are shown gasping and pulling at the noose, and their legs and bare feet kicking. Their is a wide shot of both off them hanging. Eventually they are let down to the ground alive.

 

11) Unkown Number Ep12/beggining of 13 (Chinese tv series): A woman (I dont know her name as of now) has been kidnapped. She is seen dressed in red, hands tied behind her back, and barefoot tiptoeing on an ice block with a tight noose around her throat. Throughout the scenes we see the level of the ice beneath her feet melt and eventually her kidnapper leaves her to hang. There are mutliple close ups of her bare feet and soles as the ice melts beneath her and there is a part where she is struggling to tiptoe as she slips on the ice blocks making her noose tighten. At the end of episode 12 and the start of ep13, we see her feet kicking as she hangs from the noose (ie block meltd alot), but she is saved.
