Really wish the method would be more common in media. Not sure why it is isn't, we have plenty of movies and shows about the modern age. *sigh*

As I did look, there were not many depictions of Electric Chair when it's first begun, but it stay long enough to have more cultural reference in media.
Hanging and Beheading were here for a very long time.
Lethal injection was just adopt as a method of execution recently, like toward the end of 1970's in USA, and in some country toward 1990's and 2000's .
