A French revolution guillotine scene. Starts at about 1:30. It may have already been posted here, I can't see archived posts.
 
 
An oldy but a goody.
 
 
Also really gets into how machine-like the guillotine became in its use during The Terror. No show, just walk up, tied down, flipped in, chop, flip the body off and move in the next one. There's a reason why historically there were actually complaints about how fast the guillotine worked because it meant there 'wasn't a show' as it were that would accompany manual beheadings. Almost feels like the Terror tried to make up for in numbers what it was losing in show, as far as cowing the populace goes...
