In this chapter, Astra the Black (the main protagonist) was about to be executed by the guillotine.
As one of the cult cut the rope, the blade was not falling.
In fact, the spiders had stop the blade just in time as Astra carefully move her head out of the guillotine lunette.
And when one of the cult notice her that she's escaped from the guillotine, the blade was falling down.
