The historical timeframe and context of the series should necessitate an inclusion of Lady Jane Grey's demise.

She is being portrayed by Bella Ramsey. I wonder if anyone has heard a sniff if the execution features?

I just watched Episode 6 (of 8), and we saw the beheading of Edward Seymour,
which occurred 22 January 1552.

That puts us about 2 years before Jane's execution.

The show is getting terrible ratings, so we may be looking at the worst case scenario:
the producers are saving it for a second season...which will never be produced.

Thomas Seymour was beheaded, and Edward was just ousted by Dudley. So the time is around 1549.

Ratings from aggregating sites also appear to be generally favorable. No idea why its ratings are terrible.

Just viewed Episode 8, end of Season 1, and Edward VI is just about clinging on.
Lady Jane has been summoned, presumably to learn of the succession.
The Royal sisters are dismissed, and while they deliberate on their futures,
the episode ends cutting back to the Royal chamber where the young King is puking up blood.

Roll on Season 2 (if we're lucky)

With 150,000 viewers, and only 10,000 in the 18-49 demo,
I think the series is headed for the chopping block.

Most unfortunate.
