There's a new TV series based on Marie Antoinette.

So I think there will be a guillotine scene possibly in the last episode.

I'm a bit more sceptical. As far as I understand the chronology of the series, from what has been released thus far, it appears to be focussed on Marie Antoinette's early life, before the violence and turbulence of the Revolution. I doubt we'll see her mount the scaffold. Which is a pity, but a continuation of a general trend in historical TV portrayals at present: if a lead character was, historically, executed, this crucial and important event in their life - their death - is airbrushed out. Perhaps modern day audiences are too squeamish to watch such spectacles? Who knows.

I've noticed a trend recently in regards to biographical series, it will go a little more in depth into the life of the subject. If the series does well, which I'm hoping it does, it will likely be the series finale, depending on just how far in depth they go into Marie Antoinette's life.
