That promo for episode 1750 that started this thread turned out to be false alarm.
They repeated it the other day but now relabelled as for episode 1756.
And while we're all waiting for that, they're actually showing the scene today in 1754.

I'm confused as to why the show is labeled "Tu Mo Akhira Tara" now and not "Tarini Akhira Tara". It is the same show right?

 

No, not the same show.
But as I said right at the top, same girl Asima Pati.
And playing character with the same name Tara.
AND playing opposite another character in each case called Tarini.

And lastly don't try and look up 'Tu Mo Akhira Tara', because there's a 2005 completely different movie with that name!

 

That's a quite bit of similarities. I even tried looking at the episode #s and they kinda match up and run concurrently.

I'll use Tu Mo Akhira Tara for the entry name for these ones.

Ok - let me (try to) explain
Akhira tara means daughter (with affection in this context)
It's a story of 3 generations

Tarini (mother )- Tara (daughter) : so the show was called 'tarini akhira Tara ' ( meaning tarinis daughter)
Now time has passed and Tara has daughter so the show ys call tu mou akhira Tara ( meaning you are my daughter)
