Lady Jane Grey walking to the scaffold

Never seen this one before.

Found it while sniffing around "Becoming Elizabeth"
(Bella Ramsey should go to the block sometime in the
next couple of episodes.)

From the various web sources I read, people were unsure if they would include the execution of LJG in this series, or leave it to a later series.

Do we have more evidence that it will be included now?

Not really.

But consider the historical timeline:
Catherine Parr dies 5 September 1548 (this just happened in episode 4)
Edward VI dies 6 July 1553
Mary Tudor becomes Queen after deposing Jane Grey, 19 July 1553
Lady Jane was executed 12 February 1554
Mary Tudor dies 17 November 1558, and Elizabeth becomes Queen
(This has to happen before the end of episode 8.)

So I think Jane needs to put her neck on the block sometime
in episode 6 or 7.

Let’s hope so - it would be a pain to wait until
Season 2, and always the chance it would be cancelled before then.

It would be good to see it done properly with the arms in the correct position stretched back to brace the neck and signal that she is ready for the blow

I agree, and have high hopes that this director will get it right.

Have you seen any of the episodes, so far?
It's a very naturalistic treatment.

I haven't watched the series much yet.
I only tend to be interested in Tudor dramas when they are cutting heads off ;-)
