Any more info on this movie? Is there an execution scene?

 

It is an episode in a old Italian TV series.

The woman asks the policeman to clear her before her gas chamber execution. he finds that she is guilty and leaves her minutes from the execution. She cries as he leaves but nothing is shown.

That the method of execution is gas chamber is made clear only by a reference the woman makes in the dialogue.

On top of this I read that this episode was inspired by the famous movie "I want to live" about Barbara Graham
