Kelli is a queen who is overthrown and is kept locked accompanied by her lady-in-waiting Lauren. The executioner comes to the room to announce her sentence. He says that the revolutionary court has just sentenced Kelli to death and he is appointed as her executioner. Kelli asks how she is going to be executed and the executioner says that she is sentenced to hanging. Kelli is terrified with this news but only because she thinks that hanging is only for peasants. And as the Queen she should be beheaded. She begs the executioner to chop off her head otherwise she will be dishonored. However the executioner says that he never did beheading before and doesn't want to make it painful her. But Kelli says that he seems to be rather strong and all he has to do is to chop off her head in one blow (she moves her finger through her throat). And to make it better she offers him to train it by beheading her lady in waiting first. Finally the Executioner agrees and leads them both to the execution place....
